You are a success, but you just don't know it!
The chances are that you are already successful, but you just don't
know it Have you ever thought about your life and wondered if you've been successful. Well the chances are that you
have been successful, but you just need the correct measuring stick! I am guessing that most people are similar to me, and often
weigh up what you have achieved, you will reflect on all of the things that you Have done,Could have done and Should have done Conversely when you
are in more of a negative frame of mind, you will think of the things that youHaven't doneCouldn't have done and Shouldn't have done People often
need a sense of belonging and often crave for
appreciation in their lives, and need a feeling that they have
been successful. Guess what? I think that the vast majority of people are successful and that they just don't
know it, because they are using the incorrect measuring stick, and moreover, even if they haven't
reached the kind of of success that they
want, they could do by adjusting their sights properly. The tendency to compare yourself with others is the measuring stick by which most people tend to use to see "How well have I gone?". Well the truth is, I believe, that we
should NOT compare ourselves to David Beckham if we are a soccer player, or
Rupert Murdoch if we are in business, but we should have a bit of a look at ourselves and see what we
are good at and what we can do. If you are always comparing yourself to JFK's or the Rockerfellers, Gates, Elvis Presley or Mother Theresa's of the world, there is a
good chance that you will come to the conclusion that you
have failed. Everyone has something that we
are are good at. You may have a great passion for sewing,
and it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but that does not matter, because imagine how
boring would it be if we were all the same. You may not be the best
horse rider,sky diver, joke
teller or artist, but use what your passion
is and embrace it, focus on it and use it to the best of your ability, and you will
succeed. Recognize your talents and appreciate those with different talents "Viva la difference"
