Over the past 15 years, I've been following what I call the "Yellow Brick Road" to success. "There's No Place like Home... there's no place like home" to work from!

3: 7 Stepping Stones in the River of Gratitude
Like a river, gratitude flows from a source of nourishment, like the rain, we need to add to our river by looking at our blessings. When gratitude flows through our lives we have a never-ending source of nourishment and life giving water allowing our lives to blossom and grow... Gratitude is one of the things I find must be nurtured. We find ourselves taking for granted some of the same things we cherished and were thankful for just a short time ago? Do you find yourself overlooking the small but powerful everyday things? You know what I mean, the things that used to make us sigh and grin, that now have become just routine. 4: How to Get That Dream Home Mortgage
You have been wanting to acquire a house of your own for such a long time now, yet availing yourself of a home mortgage is the last thing on your mind. And, hence, you wait endlessly until you have set aside enough to afford it in cash while you live miserably in your drafty apartment. The apprehension to obtain a home mortgage is understandable. I understand how disappointing it is to be asked to pay for mortgage fees that we could hardly afford. 8: New beginnings with Baptism
It is said that when babies smile in their sleep, they are seeing and talking to angels in their dreams. For us, we do not need a reason to smile when we are looking at them. Their cute chubby cheeks, adorable eyes, fine hair and soft skin are able to break apart even the hardest of heart. It is not unusual for a usual grumpy old man, silent and stubborn to the rest of the family, gently carrying and cuddling his very, very young granddaughter. To most, having a newborn in a family is one of the most exciting moments in one?s life.

9: Wedding favors and showers, past and present
Favors had come a long way since the 16th century. In the past, people in Rome to gave out nuts, fruits and biscuits to guests. Instead of giving them out before the guests leave the ceremony, they are presented with their snack favors before the ceremony so they can munch them during the wedding. Fruits and nuts signify fertility so they are also thrown at the newly weds. On the other hand, Italians showed their appreciation to guests by giving away items like silk scarves and incense. This would also manifest their wealth and fortune.

10: Small Tattoos A Rich History
Tattoos have a varied history dating back centuries. The first tattoos were seen on ancient Egyptians and have been seen on numerous female mummies. Studies have shown that the first tattoos were actually created by women, for women!
